There are few places on this planet where people cannot go. With the right documents, tourists can go just about anywhere to experience another culture and lifestyle of another country. Choosing where to go can be difficult with so many choices. If you have found yourself with this dilemma, you might want to start with a sport you love and find somewhere new to try it.

Those who surf, and are very good at it with lots of courage, can attempt the North Shore of Oahu in the winter months. Here the waves are unmatched and the faint-of-heart should just watch and admire mother nature. The southern coast of this Hawaiian island offers waves perfect for beginners and they take you all the way into shore.

For those who love to ski, why not go and appreciate the slopes in another country? Skiing in France for instance, offers the French Alps with their diversity of landscapes that are suited to intermediate and advanced skiers. They say these Alps are legendary and with so many slopes and lifts, you could not possibly undergo them all during one season. The choice is yours and you have a long list of options in front of you.

Spain is one of the most historically rich nations in the world, with amazing cathedrals, monasteries, and other architecture from centuries of artistic endeavor. If you want to do more than lay on the beach and drink, this is the place for you. Whether for short breaks
or several weeks of enriching site-seeing and learning, Spain has so much to offer. There are hundreds of amazing cultural sight-seeing opportunities, and a warmly welcoming local populace. If you don’t speak Spanish, there’s no need to worry, many Spaniards are familiar with American travelers, and offer a warm reception to tourists.

Some of the greatest architecture in the world has developed in Spain, as various cultures have populated the area and contributed their influences to Spain’s identity and nationality over the last 2000 years or so. The Moors and the Romans were the two biggest early contributors to what has become known as Spanish Architecture, but many other transformations and evolutions have taken place since then. The Renaissance spurred a significant change in Spanish architecture, and contributed to lavishly and intricately detailed beauty of its current architecture.

Many of the most famous churches in the world are found in Spain, such as the Sagrada Familia, a Roman Catholic church found in Barcelona. The detail, size, and utter magnificence of its design will take your breath away.

Mont Blanc France is Like No Other Place You Have Ever Seen! Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in the Alps and Western Europe. It rises 15,782 feet above sea level.
At Virgin Holidays, we believe amazing service should come as standard. That’s why Virgin Holiday’s magic touches are made available to all Virgin Holidays customers – not just the VIPs! We realise that you want to make the most of being on holiday, so we came up with Check in, Chill out, so you can check in for your flight without leaving the beach…or bar. Airports are a drag. The holiday only really starts when you get to your destination. And if you’ve got kids, then airports are living nightmares. So, to perk up the airport experience, we came up with the VRoom. And when you’re on holiday, you want to make sure it’s as good as it can be. That’s where Virgin Holidays’ Concierge service comes in – a concierge actually tuned in to the buzz of your destination, not a guy in a suit on kick backs from rip-off restaurants. This belief is what sets Virgin Holidays apart from the competition. That’s why we actually encourage our customers to ‘Ask For the World’.

But how do you express that exclusive treatment in a single thought. What do Virgin Holidays offer that no-one else does? We think it can be described as…

“ROCKSTAR SERVICE”

It’s a level of care you’d normally associate with the glamour and excitement of the entertainment elite. Made available to every Virgin Holidays customer.

With Virgin Holidays, you can rest assured that you’ll get intuitive, imaginative typically brilliant twinkle-in-the-eye Virgin service, every single time you travel with us.

Regardless of your particular vacation tastes, Paris can cater to your every desire. There are mountain resorts, famous beaches, and luxurious hotels. The most cherished cities by Honeymooners are Paris, Cape d’Agde and Loire Valley. You can have the ultimate romantic experience, including wine tasting, or lay out on some of the most famous beaches in the world, or see the greatest artwork in history.

France is a great choice especially if you want plenty of activities and attractions to keep you busy on your Honeymoon, and if you are sure to plan it in advance to avoid the rainy season. Also beware of the crowds you will run into in the tourist hot spots, instead do some research and find quaint little cafes to take your new spouse to.

There are now tour operators offering Lord of the Rings-themed tours for die-hard fans.

For those who are not into hobbits, New Zealand has many historical and cultural attractions. New Zealand was first inhabited by Polynesians in its early days and then eventually, foreigners flocked to the picturesque country. It also experienced a gold rush, and visitors nowadays can still see relics of that time in Central Otago. Napier, a port city, is the epitome of the phoenix rising from the ashes. In 1931, a huge earthquake devastated the city. After the quake, Napier’s residents constructed beautiful Art Deco buildings which are now a must-see for tourists.

New Zealanders are known for their active, outdoorsy lifestyle. This is no small wonder as New Zealand is full of beautiful landscapes and natural phenomena. Fjords can be found not only in the Scandinavian area but in New Zealand as well. Doubtful Sound is the second longest and the deepest of New Zealand’s many fjords. The Putangirua Pinnacles Scenic Reserve boasts of rock towers that are products of water erosion over millions of years and look like they belong to another planet.

Thrill-seekers are bound to fall in love with New Zealand as many extreme sports were invented here. Adventurous explorers have a multitude of outdoor activities, such as paragliding and hang gliding, skydiving, abseiling and rappelling, bungee jumping, canyoning, parasailing, rafting, windsurfing, and many more.
